The Heli Trek initiates from the beautiful city of Pokhara, and you can start to experience the beauty that the nature beholds. The diverse geography of the Annapurna region is home to a variety of floral and faunal species. Along with 30 different species of Rhododendron of different hues, you can also spot rare species of snow-leopard, musk deer and Himalayan Thar if you’re lucky.
The Annapurna region is home to the indigenous Gurung and Magar people and you might explore the cultural and traditional villages of Landruk, Ghandruk and Chhomrong. The Heli Trek provides you with the opportunity of a lifetime to indulge in the beautiful scenery from subtropical to arctic zone, with awe-inspiring backgrounds of Annapurna, Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Gangapurna, Annapurna III and Machhapuchhre mountains in a perfect ring of a diameter of 10 miles, safeguarding the deep glacier basin of Annapurna Sanctuary.

Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival.
After being picked up from the airport, our team will accommodate you to a hotel where you will be briefed about the entire heli tour. During your overnight stay in Kathmandu, you can explore the mystical alleys and the local shops of the capital city. Overnight at a hotel.
Day 02: Free Day in Kathmandu
Before prepping for the heli trek, you have a day to either rest in the hotel or explore the capital city, Kathmandu. With multiple UNESCO world heritage sites in walking range, it’ll be a day to cherish, but don’t tire yourself off, as it’s just the start of the journey. Overnight at a hotel.
Day 03: Fly to Pokhara
After breakfast and depending on your booked flight timing, you will be transferred to the domestic terminal for the scenic flight to Pokhara. The flight takes about 20 minutes providing spectacular views of Langtang, Manasalu and Annapurna ranges. Once in Pokhara, our crew along with private vehicle will meet you at the airport. From here you will drive to Birenthati which is about 2-hour drive where we spend overnight. Overnight at a local lodge.
Day 04: Trek to Ghandruk (1940m – 5/6 hrs trek)
After breakfast, you will leave the lodge to start the trek through the scattered trivial farms. Following the Modi Khola and with constant view of Mt. Machhapuchhre ahead, you will soon climb the valley towards the mountains. Passing through the rice fields and forest, you will arrive in Ghandruk early afternoon to a hot lunch that is served on arrival as you enjoy the spectacular views of Annapurna Massif. Overnight at a local lodge.
Day 05: Trek to Chhomrong (2170m – 5/6 hrs trek)
The trail climbs through a forest up to a clearing on top of a hill. Then it is followed by a steep descent through forests into a huge canyon before climbing again through forests with nice terraced fields. Thereafter, it switchbacks before climbing uphill till Taglung (2000m). The trail becomes wider from here before finally dropping down to Chhomrong. Overnight at a local lodge.
Day 06: Trek to Dovan (2500m – 5 hrs trek)
After breakfast, the trail descends onto a stone staircase, and reaches Dovan after crossing the Chhomrong Khola and passing through beautiful rhododendron and bamboo forests. Overnight at a local lodge.
Day 07: Trek to Deurali (3200m – 7hrs trek)
Going up the muddy trail along the Modi Khola, you’ll be passing through forests that take you to a cave in Hinku. The rocky trails then reach a steep climb, leading towards the river and then to Deurali. On the trek, you’ll experience amazing views of the valley with scant vegetations and majestic waterfalls dropping off the rocky cliffs. Overnight at a local lodge.
Day 08: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m – 6/7hrs trek)
The route passes through the mountainside, with spectacular views of the vertical south face of Annapurna I. As you pass the Machhapuchhre Base Camp, the vegetation gets scarce and you reach closer to the Annapurna Base Camp. Overnight at a local lodge.
Day 09: Excursion Day in Annapurna Base Camp (4150m)
We spend one more day in Annapurna Base Camp to enjoy the views of the mountains and make and excursion to the nearby glaciers and return to our lodge for overnight. Overnight at a local lodge.
Day 10: Heli Flight to Pokhara and Connecting Flight to Kathmandu
From there, we take a heli flight to Pokhara and a connecting flight to Kathmandu.

Day 11: Free Day in Kathmandu
You can enjoy the day in your hotel with a chilled beer or move around Kathmandu, getting souvenirs for your friends and family back home. Overnight at a hotel.
Day 12: Final Departure
Depending on your flight time you will be transferred to the airport. The airport checks in is 3 hours prior to the departure time and the hotel checkout time is 12PM. In case your flight is late evening please let us know if you require half day use of the hotel.
